Orrefors Small Polaris Bowl

A few years ago, Orrefors introduced Polaris, a series of votives that enjoyed enormous success the world over. Now, with his innate sense of design, Martti Rytkönen has expanded his popular Polaris collection. The newcomers are a set of bowls and vases that take their inspiration from the motion of the waves frozen fast in the ice of the polar seas. The handsome vases loom tall like magnificent ice sculptures, while the generous, open bowls are evocative of the meeting between ice and open water far north of the Arctic circle.
